There are many teachers who are now creating podcast for teachers, for students and for the wider world.

Here is a small taste of what these talented teachers are doing.

edtechcrew is a podcast hosted by Darrel Branson, (aka ICT Guy), a leader in ICT training and implementation in Victoria and beyond and Tony Richards from itmadesimple.com.

Nominated for the edublogs awards, The Virtual Staffroom is a podcast created by Chris Betcher of Betchablogs fame. Chris interviews many exciting educators who are at the cutting edge of the use of new technologies in the classroom.
Chris has also created a wiki that he used in a Podcasting Workshop. On this page you will find a pdf document that The wiki page also provides a link to another podcasting site called Podcasting News which has lists of podcasting software.

Vodcasting
What are Vodcasts? they are video podcasts which can be downloaded and viewed from anywhere with a high speed internet connection.

Educational Vodcasts is a site that looks at the teaching of science classes by using vodcasts as a means of presenting the information.IN this context the educational vodcast examples are when you are hearing the voice of the instructor as he presents direct instruction. Essentially the vodcast is a PowerPoint presentation complete with voice-over and pen marks.
TILT Teachers Improving learning with Technology is a vodcast with lots of great tutorials and ideas created by Danny Maas.
